Bringing a whole host of new functionality and enhancements, we are excited to deliver our latest release of PreBilt for IM/WM, our rapid deployment mobile warehouse software for the SAP supply chain. With many developments in direct response to customer and market feedback, the new features are designed to improve the user experience and further streamline warehouse operational efficiency.
While all PreBilt for IM/WM functions have benefitted from enhancements, here we are highlighting some of the key developments.
IM Multi Bin Management
This innovation has been developed in response to customer requirements for a way to manage stock in multiple storage bins in SAP Inventory Management (IM). With SAP IM only providing functionality to maintain one fixed bin, this new module within PreBilt bridges the gap between SAP IM and WM.
With the ability to be deployed in days, IM Multi Bin Management integrates with other PreBilt functions including bin-to-bin, picking, physical inventory, general posting and goods receipt, to deliver improved stock visibility, traceability and accuracy.
Supply Chain Reporting
Supply Chain Reporting enables live reports and data from SAP to be displayed on a wallboard in the warehouse, providing a real-time view of relevant metrics to increase warehouse productivity and processing efficiency.
Serving as an easy way to provide everybody on site with key operational data simultaneously, Supply Chain Reporting offers the ability to refresh data manually, as well as automatically in easily adjustable intervals, with the last refresh time visible, ensuring the information displayed is consistently up to date and accurate.
Checklists
The checklist function allows operatives to perform standard checks quickly and easily using a mobile device. A variety of checks can be carried out including:
- Vehicle inspections
- Material handling equipment
- Health and safety checks
- Capturing ideas for warehouse improvements
Removing the need for paperwork, checklists can be configured to the customer’s requirements and, once complete, the user signs on glass with the answers recorded to ensure data is accurate, traceable and immediately available.
While we have added a range of new solutions, we have also enhanced our existing functions with new capabilities, including:
- Serial number management across all functions
- Global menu screens across all functions
- Goods issue to order in General Postings
- Cycle counting in Physical Inventory
