We are pleased to be working with a new customer, rolling out PreBilt, our mobile solution for the SAP supply chain, at a warehouse site in the UK.
The customer, a world leading aviation equipment manufacturer and service provider, currently uses SAP Warehouse Management (WM) as its core warehousing solution. However, operators are still heavily reliant on manual, paper-based processes to record and input data. To increase traceability, improve stock visibility and make onsite activity more efficient, the company will be adopting PreBilt for WM.
Deployment will manage key warehouse processes with physical inventory, goods receipt, stock movements, pick and pack, general posting and stock enquiry. This will replace existing manual processes, cutting out paper waste and avoiding downtime with a live SAP connection for real-time stock visibility.
In addition to delivering the base framework, we will work closely with the customer to further configure stock enquiry functions for greater control. The customisations will include the ability to transfer parts from goods issue racking to inspection, move stock from quality to unrestricted and assign goods for store placing or to reject cage.
Whilst the solution is intuitive by design and can be easily reconfigured to meet shifting requirements, we will produce user and configuration guides to help operators use PreBilt. Likewise, we will work closely with the onsite teams conducting knowledge transfer and support, ensuring users fully understand the solution.
