We are delighted to be working with a new customer to deploy PreBilt™, our mobile RF scanning solution for the SAP supply chain, for a warehouse facility in Duxford, UK.
The company, a leading global material solutions provider, operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) to handle supply chain activities onsite. Following the failed implementation of a previous mobility solution, the company was experiencing issues with stock accuracy and confirming transfer orders in real-time.
The customer required an effective mobile SAP RF scanning solution that could address the urgent real-time stock accuracy requirements, as well as provide enhanced functionality and an improved user experience. PreBilt for WM has been selected to handle the processes of stock movement, stock enquiry, pick and pack, goods receipt, physical inventory counting and production returns.
With an improvement in accuracy and visibility needed quickly, the deployment-ready nature of PreBilt means it can be up and running in the customer environment in a matter of weeks so the operation can begin realising immediate benefits.
As the company requires swift uptake of the solution, PreBilt’s user-friendly UI makes it ideal for the customer, as little training is needed to become proficient with the solution. Even so, we will provide knowledge transfer sessions for onsite teams, as well as user and configuration guides to ensure a smooth and timely transition.
