We are excited to be working on a new project with one of our longstanding customers, which will see us introduce click and collect capabilities to two of its UK warehouses.
We have been working with the customer, a leading home furnishings retailer, for several years, improving the efficiency of its operation over the course of many projects together while developing a deep understanding of its SAP landscape across all sites.
The retailer is currently updating its Stoke-on-Trent and Daventry warehouses, which operate SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) respectively, to accommodate click and collect website orders. Based on our strong working relationship and SAP warehousing expertise, we were asked to assist.
The customer’s requirement is for orders to be picked in the same way as for a website delivery order, but to use a new delivery type to accommodate click and collect. With a collaborative approach to projects, this engagement will see us working with not just the customer but also an additional consultancy, which will be carrying out the setup of sales orders and deliveries in SAP ECC while we make the required changes to the sites’ respective WM and EWM solutions.
We’ll be holding sessions with the on-site teams to detail and align requirements, getting the solutions in WM and EWM fully documented and signed off with all parties with an in-depth walk through.
The solutions will be expertly developed and configured according to requirements and thoroughly unit tested. We will also be providing full support for system integration and user acceptance testing, plus cutover and go-live, and delivering knowledge transfer of the solutions.
