We’re delighted to be working with one of our longstanding customers, a large multinational food manufacturer, to integrate its Italy site with a third-party logistics service provider (LSP).
With a strong background in delivering SAP and 3PL integrations and having previously worked together successfully on a similar project at its German site, we were asked to deliver the solution in Italy too. Our team will be responsible for any activities related to the SAP Logistics Execution module.
Kicking off the project, our expert consultants will be attending design workshops with the customer and the LSP, collaborating with both parties to develop a deep understanding of the scope of interfaces being used, the current system architecture and what is required from the solution.
We will then be configuring a new plant in a development system to represent the LSP, configuring all required custom z-tables for the new plant to operate, and setting up SAP interfaces to transfer data to and from the LSP plant in line with requirements.
Conducting and documenting the unit testing of the interfaces will be included in our services to ensure the correct data is being sent to and from SAP. We will also be preparing the system and providing support for user acceptance testing (UAT), resolving any potential defects that arise for the configured interfaces, followed by cutover activities and going live.
Ensure the solution is functioning as it should and users on site are comfortable operating it, we will be providing a period of expert hypercare support following going live.
