We are delighted to be working with one of New Zealand’s leading grocery companies on an exciting project that will see us integrate a state-of-the-art automated frozen food storage and retrieval solution into SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM).
We are currently supporting the customer in implementing SAP EWM and introducing Transportation Management (TM) and Business Network for Logistics (BNL) across multiple sites in New Zealand.
At the same time, the customer is introducing an auto-freeze Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS) at one of its sites, which stores temperature-sensitive and frozen goods. The ASRS will automate and optimise the storage and retrieval processes for these goods, improving space utilisation, reducing handling times, maintaining strict temperature control and minimising human intervention and error.
Our team will now be responsible for all functional and technical configuration required in SAP EWM to ensure the ASRS is integrated seamlessly, enabling real-time inventory tracking, automated processes and improved management of temperature-sensitive products.
