We are delighted to be working with a new customer, as we begin a project deploying PreBilt, our mobile solution for the SAP supply chain.
The customer, a leading pharmaceutical manufacturer, is currently using SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) at multiple sites globally. Having experienced some useability challenges with SAP’s standard mobile solution, operatives were reluctant to use the solution so the customer was looking for a more user-friendly alternative and turned to PreBilt.
Having completed a proof of concept (POC), which demonstrated the capabilities of PreBilt can address the manufacturer’s specific challenges, our team will now prepare the customer for a full rollout across sites in Denmark, China and the US.
While the customer’s existing solution drops out when a user enters a WiFi blackspot, causing the user to lose session data and log back in again when the connection is restored, PreBilt will retain information while the connection is down. This ensures teams will not lose data when working around network blackspots, with activity continuing unhindered when the connection is restored, without a need to log in again.
PreBilt for EWM, powered by Neptune, will be implemented to manage the end-to-end warehouse processes, with the intuitive interface promoting ease of use. The solution can be easily configured to meet changing requirements and we will work closely with the customer’s onsite teams, transferring knowledge, so future changes can be made independently with little to no input from The Config Team.
