Latest PreBilt Releases Have Landed

The latest versions of PreBilt for SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), as well as PreBilt for SAP Inventory Management (IM), Warehouse Management (WM) and Stock Room Management (StRM), are now available with powerful new improvements and functionality. Following customer feedback, these releases feature enhancements to ease-of-use and data display, helping to simplify daily tasks and drive operational efficiency.

Universal Enhancements

Login Language

When users first login to PreBilt, they can select a language from a drop-down menu, which will translate all SAP standard labels within PreBilt. Coupled with existing translation functionality, this ensures operators can navigate the solution in their preferred language, making it easier to carry out daily tasks and preventing human error from misinterpretation.

Analytics User Experience

Individual metrics in PreBilt analytics can be grouped together for a more intuitive viewing experience, with configurable categories to highlight key areas. Similarly, the location of each analytics tile can be manually assigned on the screen, so critical metrics can be displayed in a more prominent position. A dynamic digital gauge can also be configured for different processes, with a red, amber and green arch to indicate performance more effectively.

App Usage Reporting

It is now easier than ever to retrieve and export usage data from PreBilt. Users can filter key information like log on/off times and task completion rates, then segment this data by date, operator and activity type. This simplifies the process of extracting granular data, which can be pulled into a streamlined report with just a few clicks, for improved traceability and accountability.

Table Screen Improvements

If a table of data in PreBilt has more rows or columns than can be comfortably viewed on screen, users can scroll across the page to see the rest of the data, without compromising font size or formatting. By extending tables across a scrollable screen, rather than zooming out or truncating the data, operators can intuitively locate, comprehend and interact with key information regardless of quantity.

Message Confirmations

Automatic pop-up messages, such as processing error alerts, can be configured to have a mandatory acknowledgment button, ensuring action is taken before moving on. This prevents inadvertent unchecked mistakes, creating accountability and mitigating human error.

Improved Display

Fields which are essential for some processes, but unnecessary for others, can be selectively hidden on certain screens, based on an established variable, to optimise screen space. PreBilt’s UX theme can align with SAP Horizon and Quartz themes using a straightforward configuration, providing visual consistency between the solution and other SAP applications.
