We are delighted to be working with a new customer, deploying PreBilt™, our mobile inventory solution for the SAP supply chain, to three warehouse sites in Spain, Belgium and France.
The company, a world leading manufacturer of engineered glass materials, is transitioning to SAP Inventory Management (IM) on S/4HANA, from a legacy ERP system. As well as requiring a mobile inventory software solution for SAP, the customer wanted to give operators a greater level of control over essential stock control processes. To meet this demand, PreBilt will be deployed with optimised stock enquiry and inventory management capabilities.
After working closely with the customer to identify its business processes, PreBilt will be configured to meet these requirements. Specifically, stock enquiry functions will feature enhanced scanning capabilities, letting users retrieve material numbers, descriptions, quantities and locations instantly. Pick and pack actions will allow users to issue goods and remove non-compliant pallets, as well as verify, record and split batches. Likewise, material document (MIGO) processes such as scrapping, transferring stock locations, issuing production orders and changing stock statuses have been configured within the solution.
While PreBilt is intuitive by design, with a streamlined and configurable interface, we will provide knowledge transfer sessions for users and support teams. This, coupled with ongoing early-life support, will help ensure a smooth deployment and deliver an instant boost in efficiency onsite.
