Building on our longstanding relationship, we will be partnering with supply chain hardware provider, Renovotec, for an exciting new project. This will see PreBilt™, our mobile scanning solution for the SAP supply chain, deployed into three warehouse facilities across France, the UK and Ireland.
The leading pharmaceutical company operates SAP EWM at each location and has been using the standard SAP mobile solution, ITS Mobile, to manage supply chain processes. However, operators required more enhanced functionality than ITS Mobile offers, particularly around goods movements, while the user interface (UI) was difficult for operators to use.
Simultaneously, the company wanted to replace its existing hardware for a comprehensive upgrade to its supply chain landscape. Due to previous successful project engagements, we will be working with Renovotec to deliver a completely integrated intelligent mobile solution.
PreBilt for EWM will be deployed on S/4HANA, focusing on key processes surrounding goods inbound, movements and consumption. This will streamline activity, making daily tasks easier for operators and boosting overall efficiency. The enhanced functionality provided with PreBilt will see operators benefit from new features including image display to help identify products, unit of measure (UoM) improvements for enhanced precision and our award-winning gamification functionality to keep teams motivated and engaged.
Although PreBilt already has a user-friendly interface, which requires minimal training to become adept with, we will provide knowledge transfer sessions and how-to guides. This will promote a smooth transition and swift uptake of the new solution.
