We are happy to be working with a new customer, deploying our mobile warehouse solution for the SAP supply chain, PreBilt™, into a warehouse location in the USA.
The company, an international building materials producer, operates SAP Warehouse Management (WM) and requires a more streamlined goods receipt process. The customer has been reliant on paper-based processes to carry out key warehouse activities, with manual input required to update SAP. Looking to digitise its goods receipt process, the manufacturer turned to The Config Team for a more intuitive mobile warehouse solution to reduce errors, downtime and paperwork.
PreBilt for WM will be implemented to provide a single mobile solution to carry out goods receiving against purchase orders directly into SAP in real-time. PreBilt’s scanning functionality will enable users to derive all relevant information from a single scan, including identifying purchase order items, creating inbound delivery records, creating shipping documents and posting the goods receipt in SAP.
While it is easy to operate and configure PreBilt to meet new requirements, with little training, we will provide knowledge transfer and training for the customer’s onsite teams, enabling future configurations to be made by the internal team without the need for any development from our consultants. This will help ensure the mobile solution remains fit for purpose, maintaining efficiency throughout the warehouse.
Following the implementation, our support team will work closely with the customer’s internal teams to ensure the solution continues to run effectively.
