We are delighted to be supporting our Nordics partner, S5 Consulting, as it embarks on a new implementation of PreBilt, our mobile scanning solution for the SAP Supply chain, into multiple distribution centres for a Norwegian consumer goods supplier.
S5 Consulting, an SAP consulting and integration specialist active across Norway, Poland and Sweden, has identified that PreBilt for Stockroom Management, powered by Neptune, will streamline warehouse activity for the nationwide wholesaler.
With more than 35 wholesale stores across Norway requiring stock, the customer operates fast-moving, high-volume distribution centres across the country. The wholesaler runs SAP Stockroom Management (StRM) on S/4HANA to manage its distribution centres, however, does not currently have any mobile scanning solution in place, relying on manual, paper-based processes throughout its warehouses.
Looking to digitise key supply chain operations, S5 Consulting will be deploying PreBilt for StRM to manage critical warehouse processes including external goods receipt, stock enquiry, physical inventory, picking and packing, within eight warehouses. The simple configuration capabilities of the software will enable the team at S5 Consulting to configure the PreBilt screens quickly and easily to meet specific customer requirements.
The direct connection to SAP will see all transactions updated in SAP in real time for significantly improved visibility and accuracy of stock throughout the warehouse. The intuitive user interface will enable tasks to be executed quicker for improved productivity, while the removal of paper will free up resources to enable administration teams to focus on supporting customers.
As part of the project, S5 Consulting will also be providing knowledge transfer sessions, which we will support by providing the team with training and product documentation. Our software consultants will also be on hand throughout the deployment to support the project team with any functional or technical assistance they require.
