We Care

We measure our performance as a business, not just by delivering exceptional SAP supply chain solutions, but also by how we positively impact our people, society and the environment. We strive to manage our practices in a way that maximises their positive social and economic contribution, while minimising our environmental impacts.

We have a dedicated CSR committee which is made up of colleagues across all areas of the business, all passionate about CSR. The job of the committee is to come up with ideas as a team, push for the implementation of initiatives, and ensure that we have a calendar year that is full of activities.

Alongside our CSR activities, we maintain a strong set of values which define our culture and how we interact with others. We are built on a foundation of collaboration, innovation, and teamwork where we respect, value, and appreciate the contribution that all our employees, partners, and customers make to our business.

Some of Our Key CSR Initiatives

PreBilt™ Forest 

With deforestation a major cause of rising CO2 levels and environmental change across the globe, we have partnered with the climate action group, Ecologi, to plant a tree for every user of our mobile barcode scanning solution, PreBilt™.  

Our customers will see the direct impact they are having on afforestation projects via our Ecologi profile, helping to promote sustainability with every project. To kick off the initiative, we planted 25,000 trees across Mozambique, Kenya, Uganda and Ethiopia, one for every active PreBilt user at the time! 

Charity of the Year

As well as supporting many local and national causes, each year our colleagues shortlist and vote for a new charity of the year that we raise awareness of and fundraise for. In 2023 we will be supporting two charities of the year, as selected by our UK and Australia teams.

2024’s UK charity of the year is Alzheimer’s Society, which is a dementia charity that provides support and advice for people living with dementia and their families. It offers dedicated services and activities, an online community, a checklist for diagnosis, and a helpline for practical and emotional support. It also campaigns for change and awareness, and funds groundbreaking research to find better treatments and care for dementia. 

Australia’s 2024 charity of the year is The Smith Family, which is a charity that helps young people living in poverty by supporting their education. The charity provides learning essentials, digital tools, sponsorships and future pathways for disadvantaged students, as well as advocating for educational reform. It believes that education is one of the world’s most powerful change agents and works with thousands of children and their families every day. 

 

MakeAChange

MakeAChange is our giving scheme that allocates each colleague a £200 (approx. AUS$350) giving pot which they can direct to any cause or charity of their choosing. In 2023 we were delighted to donate £22,000 across 97 different causes on behalf of 110 of our colleagues. MakeAChange has been relaunched for 2024.

Volunteering Days

We understand it can be hard to give back when you’re working full time, which is why our colleagues can take a day off each year to volunteer their time for a cause close to their hearts.

Wellbeing Champions

We prioritise the health and wellbeing of our colleagues and provide many resources to support this. All colleagues have enhanced Bupa private healthcare cover that includes a full health check. They also have access to the Help@Hand app from Unum, which offers a range of mental and physical health services, including 24/7 access to a virtual GP.  

Electric Vehicle Scheme 

We are committed to reducing our carbon footprint and supporting our colleagues in their efforts to live greener. That’s why we offer an electric car scheme on a salary sacrifice basis, which allows our colleagues to save money on a brand–new electric vehicle and benefit from lower running costs, zero emissions and government incentives while also limiting the environmental impact of business and personal travel.
